Terms of Service — ClinMatch

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ClinMatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

ClinMatch is a platform that helps patients find and book healthcare providers. We provide AI-assisted symptom triage to help identify appropriate specialist types and facilitate appointment booking. ClinMatch is not a healthcare provider, does not provide medical advice, and does not diagnose conditions.

3. Not medical advice

The information and recommendations provided by ClinMatch, including any AI-generated symptom guidance, are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional for any medical condition. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

4. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You may not use another person's account or allow others to use your account.

5. Booking and payments

Booking through ClinMatch is free for patients — no deposit, no upfront payment, free to cancel at any time. Providers pay a per-booking platform fee when they confirm an appointment; patients are never charged by ClinMatch. Provider appointment fees, copays, and insurance billing are handled directly between you and your provider. ClinMatch processes provider billing via Stripe.

6. Provider accounts

Healthcare providers who create profiles on ClinMatch are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, including specialty, availability, and copay estimates. ClinMatch requires manual profile approval before providers appear in public search, but provider information can change and patients should confirm credentials, insurance acceptance, availability, and costs directly with the provider before receiving care.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClinMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated symptom guidance or from interactions with healthcare providers found through the platform.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
