Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you:
- Create an account (name, email, password)
- Create a booking (appointment date, reason for visit)
- Use the symptom triage chat (your messages)
- Leave a review (rating and written feedback)
- Set up a provider profile (specialty, location, availability)
We also automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses and pages visited. Product analytics are disabled by default and should not be enabled on health, symptom, booking, or account flows before privacy review is complete.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the platform and process bookings
- To send booking confirmations and appointment reminders
- To improve our symptom triage AI
- To display provider profiles and reviews
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Health information
ClinMatch treats all health-related information as sensitive. We limit collection of health information to what is necessary to facilitate bookings — primarily your stated reason for visit. Your symptom chat messages are processed by Anthropic's AI to generate specialty recommendations and are not stored long-term or shared beyond what is required to operate the service. We recommend not sharing highly sensitive health details in the triage chat that are not directly relevant to finding the right specialist type.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with:
- Providers — your name and booking details when you book with them
- Stripe — payment processing, subject to Stripe privacy policy
- Supabase — database hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic — symptom guidance when AI chat is configured
- PostHog — disabled by default unless privacy review approves analytics
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for a minimum of 3 years for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for authentication and session management. Product analytics are disabled by default. If analytics are enabled later, ClinMatch should provide clear notice and avoid collecting health, symptom, booking, or account details through analytics tools.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@clinmatchhealth.com.
